Margaret Colvin, abstract painter and collage artist has a style and presentation all her own. Her paintings, a mix of acrylics and oil pastels, offer vibrant energy to their surroundings, from bold and colorful abstracts to eclectic collages.

Studying at the University of Texas, the Art League of Houston and the Watercolor Society of Houston has given her the ability and knowledge to discover, expand and continually challenge her technique.

Margaret was recently chosen by Houston Arts Alliance in the “Houston City Hall Art Exhibit”, The Visual Arts Alliance “Twenty-Sixth Juried Open Exhibition” and “Twenty-Seventh Juried Member Exhibition”. Through the years, she has completed several commission pieces throughout Texas and Colorado and her work is featured in several private and corporate collections locally.
