My work is ever changing and evolving. As paintings move toward abstraction, the rules begin to change. Not only do the color choices become more arbitrary, but spatial relationships are also manipulated expressively. Painting is an escape where I am totally free to create without boundaries.

Gradually as I paint, images and shapes start to appear; I am drawn in to explore these areas of my imagination and develop each to my satisfaction. Eventually, the piece melds together and a story evolves. I want the viewer to look in and explore the depths and complexity of the piece.
